Doria turned in one of the most explosive passing performances in NEC history on Saturday in St. Francis (PA)’s 44-21 setback to defending NEC champion Albany. Doria set new league records with 38 completions (old record: 31, St. Francis (PA)’s Jeremy Swords vs. Sacred Heart on October 2, 1999) and 63 pass attempts (old record: CCSU’s Keith Toolan vs. Monmouth on November 15, 1997), and his 398 passing yards was the second best single-game effort in NEC annals behind Stony Brook’s Scott Bard, who threw for 474 yards against Wagner on October 6, 2001. All three figures established new St. Francis records, and the team’s 429 yards in the air set a new school mark and ranks second to Stony Brook (474 yards) on the NEC all-time list. He also threw three touchdowns on the afternoon of 31, 28 and 34 yards.
