The finest outing of Harge’s already impressive freshman campaign came on Saturday in Central Connecticut State’s first win of the season, a 28-10 triumph at Siena. Harge reached the 100-yard mark for the second straight week, racking up a career-high 144 yards (on 16 carries) and scoring twice. His first touchdown came on an 11-yard run in the third quarter to extend the Blue Devils’ lead to 21-10. Harge later broke several tackles en-route to a 48-yard scoring jaunt early in the fourth quarter to push CCSU’s advantage to 18 points. Harge currently ranks first among NEC freshman and fourth overall with 83.0 ypg and is averaging a healthy 5.5 ypc.
