With his dual role in Central Connecticut State’s 14-10 win over Monmouth on Saturday, Rose becomes the first player in NEC history to capture two awards in the same week, adding special teams honors to his defensive accolades. Trailing 7-0, Rose put the Blue Devils on the board with 90-yard punt return for a touchdown, the second of his career. The return was also the longest-ever in an NEC game and tied a school record. Rose currently leads the NEC and ranks third nationally with 16.3 yards per punt return.
