On an afternoon that saw the Robert Morris special teams unit come up with a number of big plays, it was Massey who provided the early spark when he returned the opening kickoff a school-record 94 yards for a touchdown in the Colonials’ 23-20 win over Stony Brook on Saturday. The long return eclipsed the 93-yarder by former Colonial Antoine Lee against Towson on October 18, 1997. Massey also brought back a second quarter punt 22 yards to the Stony Brook 25-yard line. On the season, Massey leads the NEC in kickoff returns (29.7 ypr) and is second in punt returns (12.7 ypr), a figure that ranks him 21st nationally. The Orlando, FL native is also second on Robert Morris with 501 all-purpose yards.
