Bridgewater, NJ — A combined twenty-five Northeast Conference (NEC) softball players have been named All-America Scholar-Athletes by Easton and the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA). In addition, Mercyhurst earned Academic Team distinction from the organization.
The Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete award recognizes softball student-athletes who maintain a GPA of 3.50 or higher for the duration of the 2024-25 academic year.
The Lakers were one of the most fruitful academic programs in the nation. They finished just outside of the top-10, checking in with a 3.720 GPA for the 12th-best mark among all Division I squads. Mercyhurst led the charge with 16 NFCA Scholar-Athlete All-Americans, while Le Moyne had nine student-athletes take home the distinction.
